my daughters name is shauna louise smith she died in a housefire when she was 2 years old she was my
only child at the time she was my whole world always smiling a joy to be with? when she died my
world was ripped apart and found it to be the most hardest time of my life?
the guilt i carry will stay with me forever?
she was always at my side and hope and pray she still is?
she wouldve been 18 on the 21st of august 08
but instead i only got a plot of land to visit! she has a brother and a sister now and i know shes
keeping them safe for me?
she never called me mammy but debbie and i have a video of her saying debbie!it is something i watch
alone to hear her say that one word is so special to me that nobody can take away?
when i think of the way she was her smile and her cheeky nature always shines through!
i love sharing my memories of her with her siblings!
through me and my family she will live on!
shauna was a very bright child!
she learnt to walk at 10 months and she was talking very early too?
she was always up to mischief lol
you could always tell! she would give you that cheeky grin!
she was very close in age to my little sister shavonne! like two peas in a pod they would whisper to
each other in a corner somewhere?
but shavonnes not so little now? a mother herself and i see a lot of shauna in her and that makes me
miss her all the more?
id like to thank everybody whos taken the time to light a candle or leave a message,it really does
mean the world to me! x

When God calls special children to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometimes question the wisdom of His love.
For what heartache can compare with the death of one loved child
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild?
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold,
So He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few
To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult, still somehow we must try.
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."
So when a dearest child departs, we who are left behind must realise:
God loves children - Angels are hard to find.
